Linen King, a leading provider of healthcare laundry services in the south and central United States, recently announced changes to its senior leadership team.

 

Chris Corcoran, current Chief Operating Officer for Linen King, will succeed Leonard McCullough as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Leonard will remain with the Company in the role of Executive in Residence, providing continued support to the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors.

Chris has more than 30 years’ worth of operations and executive managerial experience in the healthcare laundry business. Chris comes to Linen King having most recently served as a Division Vice President for a large healthcare laundry group. Gary Hutchison, who has been with Linen King for almost ten years, will become the Chief Administration Officer for the Company.

Tulsa, Ok. – Linen King, a leading provider of healthcare laundry services in the south and central United States, recently announced the acquisition of a laundry processing facility in Ooltewah, Tennessee from Angelica. The acquisition adds the seventh laundry facility and 25 million pounds of processing capacity to Linen King’s network of plants across five states.

 

Ooltewah complements Linen King’s existing plant in Memphis, Tennessee and extends the Company’s full service capabilities into the southeast markets of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and Kentucky.

Linen King is pleased to announce that it has acquired a facility in Memphis, Tennessee. The facility, which expands on an existing eastern presence in the US, will allow Linen King to offer clients support and provide more service necessary to continue fueling growth.

 

Linen King’s new facility is located east of Linen King’s five plants in the Midwest, which includes facilities in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas.

Founded in 1999, Linen King provides customized laundry care solutions for its clients. Linen King primarily serves the healthcare laundry sector, choosing to focus on large, acute-care health systems.

Tulsa, Ok. – Linen King, a Tulsa, OK-based regional provider of healthcare laundry services, formally opened a new 60,000-square-foot plant on Oct. 24 in Conway, AR. The new plant, which represents a $7.2 million investment, is capable of processing up to 30 million lbs. annually.

Plainfield, IL – The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) has re-accredited the Linen King operating plant in Springdale, AR. The plant is one of five locations for Tulsa-OK-based Linen King, which processes more than 50 million pounds of textile products annually for hospitals and medical facilities in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

 

HLAC is an independent, nonprofit organization that inspects and accredits laundries that process reusable textiles for hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities – based on the highest, professionally recognized standards for patient safety and infection prevention.

Midwest City, Ok. — Linen King’s Midwest City healthcare laundry facility has received accreditation from the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC), the industry’s highest rating on quality and safety. This recent recognition will mark Linen King’s third HLAC Accreditation. HLAC affirms that Linen King has successfully passed an inspection of the following: its facility, policies and procedures, training programs, and its relationships with its healthcare customers.

 

“The HLAC designation provides our customers the peace of mind that comes from knowing their laundry services partner is meeting or exceeding the highest standards as established by an independent, healthcare-specific accrediting agency,” said Leonard McCullough, CEO of Linen King.  “As you can imagine, cleanliness, safety and best practices are paramount in our industry, and healthcare systems place a huge emphasis on this type of certification.”
