Midwest City, Ok. — Linen King’s Midwest City healthcare laundry facility has received accreditation from the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC), the industry’s highest rating on quality and safety. This recent recognition will mark Linen King’s third HLAC Accreditation. HLAC affirms that Linen King has successfully passed an inspection of the following: its facility, policies and procedures, training programs, and its relationships with its healthcare customers.

 

“The HLAC designation provides our customers the peace of mind that comes from knowing their laundry services partner is meeting or exceeding the highest standards as established by an independent, healthcare-specific accrediting agency,” said Leonard McCullough, CEO of Linen King.  “As you can imagine, cleanliness, safety and best practices are paramount in our industry, and healthcare systems place a huge emphasis on this type of certification.”

Tulsa, Ok. — Linen King has received TRSA Clean Green Certification from the Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA), the industry’s highest recognition of leadership in sustainability and conservation to protect the environment.

Springdale, Ark. — Linen King’s Springfield healthcare laundry facility has received accreditation from the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC), the industry’s highest rating on quality and safety.

 

HLAC is a nonprofit organization that inspects and accredits laundries processing healthcare textiles for hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare facilities. National inspection assures customers that highest quality and safety standards are met.

Tulsa – Jay Betz has joined Linen King as vice president of finance.

 

Betz was president and CEO of Tricord Pharmaceuticals.

 

He was executive vice president of fleet services for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group. He graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in business administration.

Linen King, the provider of healthcare laundry services, has opened its new headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

 

The company’s base is now at a location that is central to its Midwest laundries, which include plants at Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. The headquarters will provide approximately 3,300 sq ft of office and conference space and 5,000 sq ft of warehouse space.

Located at 1521 W. 36th Place, Linen King’s new headquarters provides approximately 3,300 SF of office and conferencing space and 5,000 SF of warehouse space.

The building in Tulsa, OK, will provide some 3,300 square feet for office space and another 5,000 square feet for warehouse operations. The new headquarters is strategically located between Linen King’s five plants across the Midwest. These include commercial laundries in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. Linen King processes more than 50 million lbs. of textile products annually for hospitals and other medical facilities. The company anticipates a 20% growth in revenue in 2013.

Leonard McCullough is CEO of Linen King, a health-care laundry services company he helped start in 1999. McCullough was Collinsville High School’s class of 1990 valedictorian. He attended Duke University on a wrestling scholarship and graduated in 1994 with a double major in public policy studies and psychology.
